William Frederick Schroeder was born December 30, 1946 in Long Prairie to Avoult & Irene (Smith) Schroeder. Bill was born on December 12, 1955 to William H. Schroeder and Emma C.. He selflessly gave his life to protect our (first sergeant) and countless others who were in the building.. He would never say no when you needed help. The father of two young boys, Schroeder had served in the Air Forces special operations command at Hurlburt Field in Floridas panhandle, and helped bring the TACP school to San Antonio last year.
